Step 6: Review and select a local Public Adjuster that will ensure the greatest recovery for your insurance claim. Again, we can refer you if you like.

Step 7: Seek medical and/or counseling and document all details (dates, times, transportation costs, medical costs. Etc.) This may lead to a large settlement for your claim.

Step 8: If your home has survived the fire, contact a reputable cleaning company as soon as possible to remove hazardous materials and particulates from your home.

Step 9: If you are displaced from your home and cannot return, document all your expenses for food and lodging. These are recoverable costs.
